OptiCorr is for measuring and correcting the following optical errors existing in digital photographic images:

Image Distortion (Barrel or Pincushion distortion, depending on the lens and focal length)

bullet

Chromatic Aberration (the part of chromatic aberration where different color planes have different magnification)

The above errors cause digital camera images to look slightly bended (straight lines are not straight in the image), and the purple-green fringes in the corners of the image.
